Seattle Cast
(He/Him) John is a returning to improv after taking break to get his shit together. Before this version, John did longform improv shows with jet city improv, and a weekly improv podcast. Before that he wandered in the wilderness of service jobs, and in the distant mists of history he studied acting in college and tried to work as an actor in Chicago and los Angeles. I know he doesn’t seem that old? now He spends time being a best uncle to a brilliant niece and nephew, trying to do a maximum number of push-ups, zipping around on scooter, and working on a psychology degree. He is very grateful to be a part of the bandit company and this show!
(She/Her) Sam has been performing improv and sketch comedy, starting in Chicago in 2016 where she learned from the best at Second City Chicago and CSz Chicago. During the pandemic Sam "quit" comedy, until she moved to Seattle in 2021 and discovered the welcoming and warm improv community that exists today! Sam is a writer and performer in the Seattle-based sketch comedy group Good Crash! She describes her comedy style as “super specific, but you’ll get it”.
(He/Him) Riley is new to the improv scene, first starting classes with Bandit in 2023 after having his dating profile roasted during their Swipe Right show. Riley has graduated from Bandit's 4 levels of classes and has performed on two of Bandit's Tumbleweeds teams, and is now part of their new show First Date. In college Riley wrote, acted, and produced for Pacific Lutheran University's student-run late-night style TV show Late Knight, which was nominated twice for a Northwest Emmy award.
(He/Him) Wikipedia donor and sharp cheddar enthusiast, Drew made his way to Seattle in 2022. A few months later, he started his improv journey with Bandit. Drew loves Bandit’s profoundly funny, inclusive and supportive community. Today, Drew performs on the cast of Bandit’s Permanent show. Drew believes in creating scenes that profoundly entertain and appropriately provoke his lovely audiences.
(She/Her) Maggie is an artist, graphic designer, and muralist who quit her stable career in social media marketing to be a full-time artist. She got into improv when she realized that she would have to learn how to talk to strangers in order to run a business—and accidentally fell in love with it. Besides starring in TikToks, Reels, and YouTube videos for brands, her only previous acting experience was as Mrs. Beauregarde in Willy Wonka in high school and a turtle in Snow White in 4th grade, where she got to exclaim “You’re turning violet, Violet!” and “Wait for me!,” respectively. When not on stage, you can find her with her nose in a book, enjoying a concert, bragging about how cheaply she thrifted her clothing and furniture, or cheering on the Green Bay Packers.
(She/Her) Heidi got her start in improv at Washington Improv Theater in the other Washington (DC) where she was, appropriately, a founder of all-female indie improv team Founding Fathers. Heidi loves eavesdropping on other people's first dates and is thrilled to have the opportunity to do so on stage with Bandit in between seasons of hate-watching Love is Blind.
Tacoma Cast
(She/Her) Chrysta loves making things worse and going in strange and unusual directions—even better if it leads the audience to think about something differently. She cut her teeth in women-led sketch and improv groups in Seattle before joining Bandit. She graduated Bandit’s long-form improv program in 2019 and performed in Bandit’s the Reader and Swipe Right shows in Seattle. She has moved to Tacoma and is excited to help grow Bandit in the Grit City. In addition to performing, she has also worn several hats to help build up the theater while sitting on the Board of Directors but she is now focused solely on performing.
(He/Him) Dean Kirkpatrick started his comedy career as a stand-up comedian in 2021 and has been regularly performing in comedy clubs in Seattle and Tacoma and across the prestigious Pierce and Thurston country dive-bar scene. He’s opened for national touring comedians and has performed in multiple comedy competitions including Nate Jackson’s funniest Mfer Comedy Competition where he was regarded as “best dressed” by his father. Seeking a less scripted, more freeing comedy outlet, Dean began performing improv in 2023, and has since enjoyed the spontaneous physical humor and freedom to explore diverse characters.
(He/Him) Mason is very excited to be here! He has been learning improv since 2016, and was formerly a performing member of the Dead Parrot’s Society, WWU’s improv team. He has recently been taking classes with Bandit Theater; he’s enjoying them tremendously; and has been cast in the Tacoma production of Almost Yours. He loves the community here, and he’s incredibly grateful!
(She/Her) Angela is an actor, improvisor and creative. She was born in the Midwest and can't shut up about it. She has been in film and television productions and been onstage with Bandit since 2024. Forever grateful for her Bandit teammates, she plays in First Date in Tacoma, WA.
