Bandit Theater is thrilled to invite you to Intro to Stand-Up Comedy taught by Cam Kiernan.

Only 14 spots available, reserve your spot for $325 (+ taxes and fees) online! Class will meet from 7:00pm - 9:00pm on Wednesdays from June 10th - July 29th at Theater Puget Sound (Armory, 305 Harrison St, Seattle, WA 98109).

Intro to Stand-Up Comedy is an 8-week beginner stand-up class designed for anyone interested in learning the fundamentals of joke structure, finding authentic topics, and performing. Whether you’ve always wanted to try stand-up or you’re looking for a new creative outlet, this class is the space for you. No experience necessary!

In this class, you’ll:

Learn the foundations of stand-up comedy and joke structure
Explore different comedy styles and discover your unique comedic voice
Practice writing original jokes and developing material
Receive individualized, supportive feedback in a low-pressure environment
Develop 5 minutes of original stand-up material
Have a TON of fun laughing, writing, and performing together

This class culminates in an optional student showcase where students can perform their material in front of a live audience made up of friends, family, and fellow comedy lovers.
