Mike Kroner

President

(He/Him) Mike Kroner started performing improv comedy in 2004 at Oberlin College. Mike has performed in improv groups around Ohio, including at the Nest Theater in Columbus and Something Dada in Cleveland, before moving to Seattle and joining the Bandit Theater. An attorney and Outreach Specialist at the Washington State Bar Association, Mike values the mindfulness and joy that improv cultivates in performers and audiences, and is proud to serve on the Bandit Theater board and do what he can to bring improv comedy to the Seattle community.

Chris Carter

Community Chair

(He/Him) Chris Carter lives in Sammamish with his wife, daughter, son, and dog. He worked in graphics and presentation design for Credit Suisse for more than 15 years before becoming a freelance writer and creative director. He has a BA from Middlebury College, an MFA from UCLA, and studied Improv, Sketch, and Character at UCB. Chris has written for the animated series “Hello Ninja” and "Shezow," as well as a forthcoming season of an existing LEGO show and a new Scooby Doo show. He hopes his service on the Bandit board will inspire his friends with MBAs and JDs to donate to the theater.

Julia Kolski

Treasurer

(She/Her) Julia was first introduced to improv comedy via an Improv for Everyone workshop hosted by Bandit Theater, and was immediately drawn to the culture of inclusivity, psychological safety, and silliness that’s inherent to the Bandit community. Since then, she’s been an avid student at the organization, performing in periodic student/teacher showcases, and acting in opportunities outside Bandit. In her day job, Julia is a Finance Manager at a tech company where she has gained experience in navigating ambiguous business problems, and using data to inform decision-making. She is excited to partner her experience in data analysis and business strategy with her values of Community and Growth to expand Bandit’s outreach and impact in the Seattle area.

Jenn Petti

Fundraising Coordinator

(She/Her) Jenn saw her first improv show when a high school team came and performed for her middle school drama class. Ever since then, she's been a sucker for a good button. Jenn has been a part of the Seattle improv community since 2017, is the cofounder and managing director of Fancy Cafeteria Musical Improv, and absolutely thinks we should order fries for the table. Jenn is honored to bring her program manager experience to the Bandit board and can't wait to see how Bandit and the city of Seattle partner to bring those good good laughs to all.

Erika Lowe

Secretary

(She/Her) Erika is a Seattle-based improviser and teaching artist who has performed with CSz Seattle and Jet City Improv. Prior to moving to Seattle Erika served as the Arts Education Program Manager for the Vermont Arts Council where she oversaw the state’s teaching artist roster and managed grant programming for the state’s schools and arts organizations. Erika has served on the board for Americans for the Arts and grant panels for the National Endowment for the Arts. She’s very excited to join the Bandit Board to share her grant writing, arts programing management, community engagement and education experience.
